VDB-Code of Conduct - Corporate Social Responsibility

Globalization has dominated the economic and political debate for years. The risks companies face resulting from insufficient compliance measures are manifold and should not be underestimated. Compliance with laws and guidelines as well as the observance of non-codified best practice rules in the sense of responsible and ethically sound corporate management become increasingly important in the railway industry. Thus, the German Railway Industry Association (VDB) has been working on the topic of compliance for years. Many companies are confronted with a variety of different codes. The VDB has therefore developed a uniform code of conduct to simplify and harmonise compliance guidelines in the railway industry for its member companies.
